Hmmm...I'm not a poetry person...not at all. This challenge would seriously take me a very long time to do, and honestly I would probably hate the outcome.
So instead, how about I share the song (sort of a poem, it rhymes and all) that I sang to my husband the very first time I told him that I loved him?
It was when I got to the line that says, "tootsie roll I think I'm in love with you..." when I sang it real slowly, then stopped singing and looked at him, realizing for the first time that I was actually falling in love.
Weird sounding lyric, you say? Yeah, well, it's from a really old candy commerical for, you guessed it, tootsie rolls! Anybody actually remember it?

Going all the way back to 1977! Yeah, I'm a little bit old now. Okay, not too old yet, since I was only born 2 years before this commercial was actually made. And besides, you're as young as you act!
