...about my really loud & ugly pajamas pants mentioned in my "about me" profile! Need some proof? Okay, here you go.
It all started a few years ago when my brother bought me a really thoughtful Christmas gift: some incredibly soft, fuzzy pajama pants. Only one problem...they were covered in giant cupcakes!
Now, I'm a huge baker, so okay I get the reference and all. But seriously bro, after having 4 kids my backside isn't large enough without the addition of giant cupcake prints sprawled all over me???!!! What, the stores don't carry really soft pajama pants in solid colors or more slimming prints? You know, like black that makes you look thinner?
I wasn't all that thrilled with my new gift. But as it turned out, those pajama pants became THE most comfy set of pants I've ever owned! And while the style wasn't exactly something ideal for my tastes, I quickly fell in love with my really ugly pajama pants...and then suddenly, they didn't seem so ugly anymore.
I loved them so much, that the next Christmas my husband bought me a new pair of really ugly (yet incredibly comfy) pajama pants!
This time when I opened up my gift and saw these incredibly ugly pajamas I was instantly in love. I can be a grown up when I get dressed and leave my house, but who says I can't look more like a kid when I'm at home in my pj's?
So now, what started as a really ugly present has turned into an annual tradition that I absolutely love and look forward to. What about you? Do you have any so-ugly-they're-cute-and-you-love-them favorite items in your home?
